Bastrop Blinds is a Family Business, locally owned and operated by Steve and Maela Hughes. They Love living and working in our "small town" of Bastrop and feel especially connected to and proud of our community having been through the devastating wildfires of 2011 and the remarkable spirit that pulled everyone together in it's aftermath.
Maela's professional background in commercial architecture and interior design serve her well when clients need advice on colors or style. Maela is also a full time Realtor with Re/Max here in Bastrop.
Steve's background in Construction and his meticulous attention to detail assure you a perfect installation and his extensive background in the Commercial Printing Industry gives him an affinity for complementary colors and styles should a client need a second opinion.
Bastrop Blinds was founded in 2000, Steve and Maela purchased the company in 2014.
